Terrance Ingram signs with University of Jamestown

University of Jamestown head men's football coach Shawn Frank has announced the signing of Terrance E. Ingram of Renaissance High School who will join the Jimmies in the 2015-2016 season.

Ingram (Detroit, MI) is 6'1" tall. He was his team's Lineman of the Year. He had 70 season tackles, five fumble recoveries, 31 assists, and 2 blocked punts.

Coach Frank says of Ingram, "If you drew up a prototypical nose tackle in a base 3-4 defense, Terrance would be a perfect example. His ability to anchor at the point of attack was very noticeable when we evaluated his film. He can also shed and run, which was also very appealing. Terrance is a very soft spoken young man, but plays with high intensity. He has an opportunity to be a great player for us. Terrance comes from a highly productive high school program."

Ingram, son of Monica Peeples, is an honor student and a member of the National Honor Society. He plans to major in Pre-Engineering or Pre-Med.

The University of Jamestown was established in 1883 and is ranked as a top regional school in both US News and World Report and The Princeton Review. The school features development of the whole person through its distinctive Journey to Success experience.
