BISMARCK, N.D. – The University of Jamestown men's golf team finished fourth out of 12 twelve teams as the second day of the United Printing Marauders Invitational finished at Hawktree Golf Club.
FINAL RESULTS
The Jimmies shot 18-over 306 on Tuesday to finish at 25-over 601 (295-306), ten shots better than fifth-place St. Cloud State University (305-306).
Augustana University led wire-to-wire, finishing at even-par 576 (284-292), followed by University of Mary at 9-over 585 (291-294), and a second University of Mary team at 20-over 596 (298-298).
Porter Seidel tied for ninth after a 4-over 76, one of three Jimmies to card a 76 on Tuesday.
Nathan Hoogsteen shot a 6-over 78 to finish at 7-over 151, tying for 17
th place.
Jack Josephsen matched his first round score of 4-over 76 and tied for 22
nd place at 8-over 152.
Bodie Williams (78-76) and
Noah Law (75-79) tied for 28
th at 10-over 154.
Mac Maluski, playing as an individual, tied for 25
th at 9-over 153 (76-77).
Henry Hartquist of Augustana was the tournament winner with a two-round score of 5-under 139 (67-72), four shots better than runner-up Aiden Knodel from University of Mary (70-73-143).
The Jimmies return to the links on October 5-6 for the Battle in the North, hosted by Minot State University at Beowulf Golf Club in Minot, N.D.
