The University of Jamestown Jimmies wrapped up their weekend travel play with a display of remarkable grit and offensive efficiency, despite a narrow 3–0 loss to Arizona Christian University on Saturday afternoon. Throughout the match at De Witt Gymnasium, the Jimmies remained highly competitive in every set, falling just short in a series of tightly contested sets with scores of 22–25, 24–26, and 21–25.

Jamestown set a high standard offensively, particularly in the final two sets where the team maintained a .250 hitting percentage. The Jimmies resilience was most evident in the second set, where they pushed the Firestorm to extra points, nearly claiming the set before Arizona Christian escaped with a 26–24 decision. Even in the third set, Jamestown refused to yield, battling through a series of intense rallies to stay within striking distance until the final point.

Chase Hawkinson led the way offensively for the Jimmies, finishing with a team-high 11 kills and totaling 12.5 points on the afternoon. He was a consistent threat from the outside and added a service ace to his stat line. Ladarius Williams provided major production with seven kills and two block assists, while Joshua Crowley stepped up with six kills and three digs. At the net, Cohen Johnson and Ethan Carroll were primary defensive anchors, each recording two block assists and contributing four kills apiece.

Rowan Shaughnessy also played a key role in the ball distribution, contributing 11 assists of his own. Defensively, the Jimmies totaled seven team blocks, with Amery Roberts chipping in four kills and two blocks to help steady the front line during several critical scoring runs.

The Jimmies returned to action from February 12th to 15th, traveling to Florida to face off against Millennia Atlantic University, Barry University, and Warner University.
