Game 1: Jamestown 9, Dakota Wesleyan 4
Jamestown's bats came alive in the middle innings, highlighted by explosive performances from the top and bottom of the order. Â
The Lead: Jamestown built a 7-0 lead through five innings before holding off a late surge from the Tigers to win 9-4. Â
The Circle: Abby Blair was dominant in her starting role, earning the win after tossing 5.0 scoreless innings and allowing only one hit while striking out three. Hope Ransome closed the game in the seventh to preserve the victory. Â
The Bats: Sonya Rodgers delivered the biggest blow of the game with a bases-clearing triple in the fourth inning as part of her 3-RBI day. Trinity Gregg set the tone from the lead-off spot, going 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Natalie Draper also added a triple and an RBI. Â
The Turning Point: After two scoreless frames, the Jimmies broke through in the third with two runs, followed by a massive four-run fourth inning punctuated by Rodgers' 3-RBI triple and a subsequent run on a passed ball. Â

Game 2: Dickinson State 4, Jamestown 3
A dramatic seventh-inning rally propelled Dickinson State past Jamestown in a tight matchup.
The Lead: Jamestown controlled the pace early, building a 3-0 advantage heading into the final frame, but Dickinson State stormed back with a massive four-run seventh inning to steal the 4-3 victory.
The Circle: Reagan King pitched a complete game to earn the win for Dickinson State, allowing three earned runs on nine hits while striking out three across seven innings. For Jamestown, Aubrey Quern delivered a strong start, giving up just three hits and two earned runs while striking out nine over six innings of work. Hope Ransome took the loss after surrendering two earned runs in one inning of relief.
The Bats: Kiley Hubby led the Dickinson State offense, going 2-for-3 with the go-ahead two-RBI single. Ashlee Potter also delivered in the clutch with a two-RBI single, while Bailee Mitchell added a double. UJ's offense was paced by Amanda Burch and Sonya Rodgers, who each recorded two hits, and Ransome, who lined an RBI double in the second inning.
The Turning Point: Trailing 3-0 in the top of the seventh, Dickinson State finally broke through. After a double by Mitchell and a hit-by-pitch drawn by Jessa Duggan, Potter laced a two-run single to cut the deficit to 3-2. Moments later, Hubby completed the comeback with a two-run single to center field, giving Dickinson State their first and final lead of the night.
Jamestown (7-2)Â concludes the weekend with a doubleheader against Bismarck State College on Sunday, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Nelson Family Bubble.
