JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The University of Jamestown men's wrestling team concluded its weekend homestand on Sunday at Harold Newman Arena, falling 44-0 to No. 3 University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
Wisconsin-Parkside secured victories in all ten weight classes, including two pins and two technical falls.
Despite the team result, the Jimmies posted strong offensive efforts in several bouts. At 125 pounds,
Isaac Ronquillo battled in a high-scoring affair to open the dual, dropping a 17-10 decision to Dylan Duvernay.
Rocker Aguilar also put points on the board at 165 pounds, falling by a 13-7 decision to Liam Fox. In the 149-pound match,
William Cook fought to a 13-6 decision loss against Henry Niebauer. Hayden
Ramaeker added a competitive match at 184 pounds, losing by an 11-4 decision to Ben Kienbaum.
The Rangers picked up falls at 157 and 174 pounds and closed the match with a forfeit victory at 285 pounds.
UJ travels to face University of Sioux Falls on Friday, January 30 at 7 p.m.
