SURPRISE, Ariz.—The Jimmie baseball team finished its Arizona trip Saturday evening with a split against No. 14 Ottawa (Ariz.) University. UJ lost game one 3-2 but came back with an 8-4 win in game two.
THE BASICS

GAME ONE
- OUAZ scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to overcome a 2-1 deficit and went on to win the nine-inning contest by a score of 3-2.
- The game was scoreless until the top of the fourth when Jordan Singleton drove in Ryan Muizelaar with a groundout.
- The Sprit tied the score in the bottom of the sixth, but UJ quickly went back in front in the top of the seventh after Isaiah Roebuck scored on a wild pitch.
- Ryan Radkey took the loss despite giving up three runs on five hits over six innings. He struck out three and walked one.
- The Jimmies were held to three hits in the contest—one each from Roebuck, Triston Madison, and Landon Runge.
GAME TWO
- Jamestown's offense rebounded in the nightcap, as they supported starter Isaac Hanson with eight runs over the first four innings in an 8-4 win.
- Hanson (2-0) went 5 2/3 innings and surrendered a single run on four hits to win for the second time in his last three starts.
- Landon Runge reached on an error that allowed Isaiah Roebuck to come home with the Jimmies' first run in the top of the second, then later in the inning Julian Romero singled in two more runs to make it 3-0.
- Roebuck added to UJ's lead with he singled in Triston Madison in the third, then the Jimmies broke the game open an inning later.
- Ryan Muizelaar singled in Julian Romero, and an error in the outfield allowed Chase Burke to also cross the plate as Muizelaar took second base on the play.
- Muizelaar then stole third base and an errant throw by the catcher let Muizelaar advance home to make it 7-0.
- Jamestown's final run of the inning came as Dallas Cummins scored on a groundout by Madison.
- OUAZ got on the board with a two-run home run in the sixth and added two more in the bottom of the seventh on a pair of sacrifice flies.
- Roebuck (3-for-4) and Muizelaar (2-for-4) had multi-hit games for the Jimmies.
