OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The University of Jamestown baseball team salvaged a split against #20 Concordia (Neb.) on Monday, winning 16-3 after losing 11-2 in the opener.

GAME ONE: CONCORDIA 11, JAMESTOWN 2 (7-inning game)
- Nine runs in the top of the sixth for the Bulldogs proved to be the difference in Monday's opener.
- The Jimmies trailed 1-0 going into the bottom of the second, but took the lead on a two-run single by Chase Burke.
- Concordia tied the game on a solo home run by Michael Welch in the top of the fourth, then broke the game open two innings later.
- The Jimmies went through four pitchers in the inning as the Bulldogs plated nine in the sixth on five hits, two hit batsmen, and a walk.
- Isaiah Roebuck had UJ's other hit, a one-out single in the second inning.
- Ryan Radkey started for the Jimmies and pitched 4 innings, striking out 4 and allowing 4 hits while walking 5.
GAME TWO: JAMESTOWN 16, CONCORDIA 3 (7-inning game)
- Jamestown broke out the bats early and often in game two, taking a 6-1 lead after the first.
- Ben Patton doubled in two runs while Varen Sabino and Riki Okamoto also had run-scoring doubles. Triston Madison had an RBI single and Landon Runge scored on a wild pitch as the Jimmies sent 10 batters to the plate.
- After pushing their lead to 9-1, UJ tacked on five more runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth to lead 16-1.
- Isaac Hanson (1-0) pitched six strong innings, striking out four and allowing two earned runs on five hits before giving way to Elias Harris, who struck out two in a scoreless seventh.
- Jimmie hitters combined for 17 hits against six Concordia pitchers, led by Madison and Alex Alva with three hits each.
- Sabino, Runge, Isaiah Roebuck, and Ryan Muizelaar all finished with two hits.
- Alva drove in three runs and Madison, Muizelaar, Patton, and Chase Burke all drove in two.
