KANSAS CITY, Mo.-- Elijah Barajas, Chance Robinson, and Trystan Rogers earned top-four finishes at the KCAC Championships Saturday, hosted by Avila University.

Barajas took third at 125 pounds, finishing 3-1 on the day. He won by 15-0 tech fall over Ottawa's Blake Prather, then lost by major decision to Brody Gee of Saint Mary in the semifinals. Barajas then concluded the tournament with a 12-2 major decision over Anthony Piaia of Ottawa and pinned York's Barrett Stickleman in 3:34 in the third place match.

Robinson was third at 285, also finishing 3-1. He won a 9-2 decision over Avila's Jeremiah Sanders and bounced back from a 2-0 loss in the semfinals to defeat Dylan Weidl of Ottawa by pin in 2:16 and Chase Baker of Friends by 5-2 decision.

Rogers placed fourth at 197 pounds, winning a 9-4 decision over Jaron Alf of Ottawa and a pin of Avila's Blake Becker in 4:20.

Johnny Colon finished sixth at 133, recording a pair of wins by pin and major decision.
