INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Jamestown men's wrestling team had nine competitors in action at the 46th Annual Midwest Classic on Saturday, with three grapplers securing multiple victories in the prestigious tournament.

Isaac Ronquillo (125) finished with a 2-2 record. After dropping his opening match, Ronquillo bounced back in the consolation rounds. He earned a 17-2 tech fall victory over Caiden Harbert of West Liberty followed by an injury default win over Jorden Williams of Fairmont State in just 58 seconds.
Elijah Nose (133) also posted a 2-2 record. Nose started strong with a dominant 23-6 tech fall win over Davenport's Shawn McGuire. After a narrow 8-7 decision loss in the second round, Nose responded with another tech fall victory, defeating Alex McMiller of Emmanuel 18-1.
Colton Schaad (174) went 2-2 on the day. Schaad wasted no time in his opener, pinning Donovan Hawthorne of Newberry in 1:07. In the consolation bracket, he added a 17-3 major decision victory over Millersville's Mitch Bivona.
At 149 pounds, William Cook picked up a win for the Jimmies, scoring a 9-1 major decision over Lane Huizar of Grand Valley State. He finished the tournament 1-2.
Other Jimmies in action included Kellan Larson (141), Maddox Campbell (157), Rocker Aguilar (165), Hayden Ramaeker (184), and Dane Hartmann (197).
The UJ men return to dual action on Thursday, December 18, hosting Minot State at 7 p.m.
