MITCHELL, S.D. – The University of Jamestown men's wrestling team saw strong performances from several individuals at the DWU Open, hosted by Dakota Wesleyan University on Saturday at the DWU Sports & Wellness Complex.

Leading the Jimmies were standout days from William Cook at 157 pounds and Elijah Nose at 133 pounds.
Cook had a prolific day at 157, racking up a 5-2 record. His wins included three pins: one against Charlie Hutson of Fort Hays State in 3:55, one against Ty Saulter of Augustana in 5:48, and another against Gabriel Wagner of UMary in 6:17. Cook also added a 16-5 major decision over Bismarck State College's Izac Turner and an 8-5 decision over Northern State's Carter Ban.
At 133, Nose posted an impressive 4-2 record. He recorded pins in three of his four victories, earning falls against Will Farren of Dakota Wesleyan in 2:16, Anthony Garritano of Iowa Lakes Community College in 5:38, and Trayton Weiss of Augustana in 4:11. Nose also secured a 17-1 technical fall victory over Owen Elsasser of Wayne State.

125: Harley Hardison picked up a win with an 11-8 decision over teammate Mario Fernandez.

157: Maddox Campbell registered a pin (4:02) against Griffin Bohanan of Fort Hays State.

184: Dane Hartmann scored a quick pin (0:45) over DJ Rock of Southwest Minnesota State.

184: Hayden Raemaeker went 2-2, earning a 12-9 sudden victory decision against Greg Fuher of Bismarck State and a 6-2 decision over Jacob Range of Iowa Lakes Community College.
Also competing for the Jimmies were Mario Fernandez (125), Zairyn Ramos-Semana (125), Isaac Ronquillo (133), Ethan Holstein (149), Landon Day (165), Nolan Wilson (165), and Colton Schaad (174).
The Jimmies will be at the Grand View Open in Grimes, Iowa on Saturday, November 15.
