Wayne, NE – The University of Jamestown Jimmies Women's Volleyball Team were swept by the No. 1 ranked Wayne St. (NE) Wildcats in a straight-sets match at Rice Auditorium. The Wildcats dominated the contest, particularly in the second set where they hit a staggering 0.439. Wayne State finished the match with a collective 0.288 hitting percentage, compared to the Jimmies' 0.145.

• Set 1 (25-20, WSC WIN): The Jimmies kept the set competitive, hitting 0.135 and using their serving to close the gap. A service ace from Mia Hinsz brought the Jimmies within three points late in the set, 18-21, but the Wildcats closed it out to win 25-20.
• Set 2 (25-11, WSC WIN): Wayne State was dominant, posting an exceptional team hitting percentage of 0.439 with zero attack errors. The Jimmies struggled to find an answer, falling by the widest margin of the match, 25-11.
• Set 3 (25-21, WSC MATCH WIN): Jamestown showed renewed fight, managing to tie the score six times early on. A service ace from Sophie Ketterling brought the Jimmies to \bm{21-24}, but the Wildcats ultimately finished the set 25-21 to complete the sweep.
