Crookston, MN – The University of Jamestown Women's Volleyball team secured its first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) victory of the season on Saturday, sweeping the University of Minnesota-Crookston Golden Eagles in a three-set match at Lysaker Gymnasium.

A kill from Brooke (assisted by Ava Bertsch) and back-to-back kills from Mueller (assisted by Ertz and Mueller) helped bring the score to 17-20.The Jimmies tied the set at 21-21 after a kill by Ava Bertsch and a powerful solo block from Addison Brooke 22-12. Caroline Puetz broke a 23-23 tie with a kill (assisted by Ava Mueller), and the set ended on an attack error by the Golden Eagles, giving the Jimmies another 25-23 victory.
• Set 3 (25-19, UJ Win): The Jimmies took firm control early, going up 6-1 on back-to-back attack errors by the Golden Eagles and a block by Addison Ertz and Caroline Puetz. The Jimmies maintained a comfortable lead throughout the set. Momoka Minamiya delivered a service ace to extend the advantage to 13-7. The lead grew to eight points at 19-13 after a service ace by Ava Mueller. Ava Mueller closed out the match with a kill off an assist from Ava Bertsch, clinching the final set 25-19 and completing the 3-0 sweep.
