Box Score Jamestown, N.D. – The University of Jamestown men's basketball team is undefeated on the weekend with defeat of the Dakota State Trojans on Saturday evening.
Silas Bennion dropped 22 points for the Jimmies, and
Ayden Stainbrook (18),
Owen Hektner (16), and
Anthony Walters (15) joined him in double figures. This was Bennion, Hektner, and Walters's second game in a row reaching double-digit points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Jimmies had a slower start tonight as their shots struggled to fall through the net, allowing the Trojans an early lead of 12-3. Back-to-back triples from Hektner got the Jimmies going, and they tied the Trojans at 29-29 with four minutes and change to go.
- Hektner had eight of the Jimmies following 10 points as the Jimmies managed to lead a slim 39-38 to end the first half.
- The teams fought for the lead in the first few minutes of the second half, but the Jimmies started to pull away after Walters and Stainbrook each hit one from downtown.
- Shots began to fall quickly for the Jimmies after this, and they maintained their lead for the remaining 15:36 of the half.
- The Jimmies put in their reserves in the final couple minutes, and their largest lead of the game (94-68) came with only a minute remaining credit to a Garrett Kolbeck.
- The Jimmies had another impressive 3-point shooting night, shooting 17 total, and went 50% from the floor and beyond the arc.
- Forty-seven of the Jimmies points came from the bench. As a team, they forced 16 turnovers and only had three themselves.
