Butte, Mont. – The University of Jamestown men's basketball team played the Montana Western Bulldogs in Montana on Friday evening. The Jimmies double-digit victory secured them their first win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Jimmies led the Bulldogs for the entirety of the first half. Their largest lead was by 10 points (23-13), which came 11:32 into play.
• While unable to catch the Jimmies, the Bulldogs outscored them in the remaining minutes to trail 33-36 to end the half. 
• In the first half, Cole Glasgow led scoring for the Jimmies with nine points, and the Jimmies outrebounded the Bulldogs 21-11. Hunter Lyman led rebounding with nine. 
• The Jimmies gained a ten-point lead for the second time three minutes into the second half. The game was history after this, as the Jimmies only continued to extend their lead and secured a 19-point win (76-57). 
• The Jimmies improved from 10 turnovers in the first half to two in the second. Glasgow and Owen Hektner each had 12 points, which put them at 21 and 17 points for the game, respectively. 
• Jimmy Llinas was also in double figures with ten points, and Lyman left the game with ten rebounds. 
• Overall, the Jimmies shot 50% on field goals and grabbed 12 (38-26) more rebounds than the Bulldogs.
