Box Score 2 BILLINGS, Mont.— The second-ranked University of Jamestown women's volleyball team won two more matches on Thursday, sweeping Rocky Mountain (Mont.) and No. 13 Providence (Mont.) at the North Star/Frontier Crossover Tournament, hosted by Rocky Mountain College at the Fortin Center.

MATCH ONE: JAMESTOWN 3, ROCKY MOUNTAIN 0
- The Jimmies hit .267 against Rocky Mountain, putting 17 kills down in each of the three sets.
- Aleah Zieske (18 kills) and Charlee Krieg (10) combined for 28 kills, four more than the combined RMC total.
- A 4-1 run in the first set gave UJ an 11-5 lead, and the Jimmies maintained a lead of 4 to 7 points the rest of the way.
- Rocky led 7-6 in set two before a service error brought Jamestown level, and a 7-1 run changed the momentum for UJ. The Bears closed the gap to 16-15 before three in a row by the Jimmies pushed the lead back to four.
- Tied at 9 in the third set, Jamestown used a 5-0 run to turn the tide and eventually capture the match with a nine-point victory.
- Gracie Adamson added nine kills while Lexi Olson and Karlie Anderson finished with five each.
- Lily Bertsch had 22 assists and 7 digs, and Tenley Buddenhagen passed out 21 assists as Jamestown finished with 49 assists on their 51 kills.
- Ellie Holen led all players with 25 digs, followed by Grace Hegerle with 9. Olson (3) and Krieg (2) had five of UJ's six block assists
MATCH TWO: JAMESTOWN 3, PROVIDENCE 0
- The Argos held a 15-14 led in the opener, but a block from Charlotte Lempka started a streak of 6 straight points that put the Jimmies ahead 20-15.
- A kill and service ace by Lexi Olson bookended three straight Providence attack errors, and those five points helped UJ take an 8-4 lead in set two. Jamestown eventually built an 18-10 advantage and went on to win the set by nine.
- Providence nearly had the Jimmies doubled up at 15-8 in the third set, but four in a row and 8 of the next 9 quickly tied the score for UJ. The teams traded points and the Argos built a three-point edge.
- With the Argos holding set point (28-27), a Gracie Adamson kill kept Jamestown alive, then back-to-back aces by Lily Bertsch were the final two points for the UJ sweep.
- Jamestown outhit Providence .252 to .112, including .361 to .083 in the second set.
- Aleah Zieske had a match-high 15 kills and Lexi Olson added 12 kills while hitting .435.
- Ellie Holen led Jamestown with 19 digs, followed by Grace Hegerle with 10. Olson finished with 5 total blocks.
- Bertsch (19 assists, 9 digs) and Tenley Buddenhagen (18 assists, 2 aces) had 37 of the Jimmies' 46 assists.
