Megan Pold

Megan Pold is a 6'1" junior Center from Prior Lake, MN – she wears #54 for the Jimmies.

Megan came to Jamestown because of the "small town feel of campus. Everyone was really welcoming and it seemed like they cared about it. "

As a student, she is working on an Exercise Science degree with a coaching emphasis.

Marla J. Walter, MS, Instructor in the Exercise Science department, had this to say about Megan, "She's awesome and works hard. Megan shows good leadership qualities. Her demeanor is fantastic when working with others."

Megan's goal after graduation will be to "go into grad school and get my doctorate in physical therapy."

Pold has amassed the following statistics in her third year as a Jimmie through Feb. 18, 2014: 521 points, 473 rebounds, 63 steals, 52 blocks, and no three pointers. Her shooting percentages in her career are 74.6% from the free shot line and 46.2% from the field. Pold is currently tied with Jordan Bridges as the team leaders with 155 rebounds in the 2013-14 season.

When asked about her favorite assistant coach, she stated, "obviously coach Joseph."

Coach Joseph responded with, "They just love me for my cookies! J"

A favorite quote Megan decided to share was "It's amazing what you can accomplish when no one cares who gets the credit."

When asked about her life as a Jimmie, she stated, "definitely wouldn't want to be anything else!"

Mini corn dogs are her favorite food.

Teammate Kaeli Kraska had this to say about Megan, "I think that Megan has improved her game greatly this year and I have a lot of fun playing with her!"

Greatest basketball memory

Bridget falling while "running" backwards. hahahahahahhahahahahahahahaha. Also, Bridget refusing to give Coach eye contact. tehehe
