- The camaraderie amongst players and staff, I enjoy the relationships and support I receive as a Jimmie student - athlete.
2023-2024 (Senior at University of Jamestown)
Jimmy started 27 games for the Jimmies. Llinas averaged 9.4 points and 9.5 rebounds per contest, while shooting 60.8% from the field. He led the team in double doubles with 8. Jimmy was the GPAC Defensive player of the year, and a second team all-conference selection.
2020-2021 (Freshman at Saint Xavier University)
Jimmy Llinas had an impressive freshman season, earning CCAC Freshman of the Year honors in 2020-21. He started all 18 games, leading his team with 65 blocks, ranking 3rd nationally in blocks per game (3.6) and 4th in total blocks. Jimmy averaged 5.9 rebounds per game and shot 50 percent from the field. He set a school record with 13 blocks in a game against Lincoln (Ill.).
High School
Jimmy Llinas played at Saint Lucie West Centennial High School. He earned First Team All-Treasure Lake Conference honors and was named Team MVP for two consecutive seasons in 2018-19 and 2019-20. As a leader on and off the court, Jimmy served as Team Captain during the 2019-20 season and was also recognized for his academic achievements, receiving the 2019-20 Scholar-Athlete Athletic Award.
Personal
Jimmy is the son of Jimmy Sr. and Lynette. Jimmy is majoring in computer science and will graduate this May.
