Get to Know Carson... 

Who or what inspired you to start playing basketball growing up? 

• Playing with my dad and brother in the driveway. 

Tell us about your favorite basketball moment as a player or fan? 

• Playing with my brother and cousin my freshman year of high school.  

Who is your favorite basketball player? 

• Naz Reid 

What is one talent you have outside the game of basketball? 

• Video Games 

What do you hope every Jimmie fan says after they see our team play? 

• That we play hard. 

Why did you choose UJ and what do you like about being a Jimmie student- athlete? 

• I chose it because I like the small campus feel and how everyone supports each other. 

High School 

Carson played at Redwood Valley High School in Minnesota. Woodford was a three-time All-Conference player, he scored over 1,000 career points and became the program’s all-time leader in blocks, rebounds, and field goal percentage. Carson also helped lead his team to the state tournament as a qualifier in 2019. 

Personal 

Carson is the son of Derek and Dana. He is an elementary education major.
