SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Jamestown men's cross country team began its 2025 season on Friday at the Augustana Twilight Meet. The Jimmies placed ninth out of 25 teams in the 4-mile race held at Yankton Trail Park.
Sophomore
Gavyn Graham led the way for Jamestown, placing 66th with a time of 20:09.83. Junior
Cole Campbell was the next Jimmie to cross the line, finishing 74th in 20:15.22. The remaining scorers for the Jimmies were freshman
Aaron Devine (84th, 20:21.16), freshman
Noah Sayler (104th, 20:33.71), and freshman
Braeden Kinzler (124th, 20:43.73).
All eleven Jimmie runners set new personal bests during the race, which had a field of 394 competitors.'
The individual champion was Cody Larson of South Dakota State, who completed the course in 18:00.10. South Dakota State also captured the team title with a dominant score of 15.
Next up for the Jimmies is the Blue Hawk Invitational in Medora, N.D., on September 20.
