JAMESTOWN, N.D.-- The University of Jamestown men's cross country team placed seventh in the team standings at the Jimmie XC Invitational, which was held Friday at the Parkhurst Cross Country Course.

The top finisher for the Jimmies was freshman Aaron Devine, who was the first scoring runner for the team and finished 49th overall with a time of 26:50.2.
The scoring runners for Jamestown were:

Aaron Devine: Finished 49th overall (36th scoring) with a time of 26:50.2.

Gavyn Graham: Finished 50th overall (37th scoring) with a time of 26:56.1.

Cole Campbell: Finished 53rd overall (39th scoring) with a time of 27:02.6.

Noah Sayler: Finished 55th overall (40th scoring) with a time of 27:08.6.

Braeden Kinzler: Finished 62nd overall (43rd scoring) with a time of 27:22.6.
The total spread for Jamestown's scoring five was 32.4 seconds.
Other Jimmie runners competing in the 8K race included:
North Dakota won the men's 8K team title with a score of 22 points. North Dakota State placed second with 46 points, followed by Rocky Mountain in third with 95 points.
Louis-Lys Fanucchi from North Dakota was the individual champion, clocking a winning time of 24:41.8. Matej Hrebacka, also from North Dakota, was the runner-up in 24:47.1.
Jamestown's next meet will be the Holiday Inn Express Classic on October 11, hosted by Dordt (Iowa) University.
