Aberdeen, SD —The University of Jamestown Women's Volleyball team battled hard on the road Tuesday night but came up short in a three-set loss to # 18 Northern State at Wachs Arena in Aberdeen, SD. Despite strong individual performances and stretches of momentum, the Jimmies were unable to sustain rallies as the Wolves pulled away.

In a pivotal moment, the Wolves unleashed a brief but powerful 2-0 scoring run, ultimately sealing the set with a score of 25-21.
- Set 2:The Jimmies came out fighting in the second set, keeping the score close from the start. Corbyn Menz sparked excitement with three consecutive service aces that gave the Jimmies a 4-2 lead. Yet, the Wolves responded quickly, embarking on an impressive 7-0 scoring streak that shifted momentum in their favor. Despite the Jimmies' best efforts to rally, the Wolves maintained their lead and took the set 25-17.
- Set 3:The Wolves began the third set with authority, but a couple of attack errors allowed the Jimmies to surge back and tie the score at 6-6. From there, it turned into a fierce battle, with both teams exchanging points. The Jimmies continually found ways to keep the pressure on, but in a decisive finish, the Wolves outscored them 4-1, closing out the set and the match 25-23.
