Women's track and field compete at Bison Open

Fargo, N.D. – The University of Jamestown women's track and field team competed in the Bison Open on Friday. The women placed seventh of ninth.

FOR THE JIMMIES – TRACK EVENTS

Sara Sletto ran the 200 meters and finished with a time of 27.66. She also ran the 100 meters and finished in 13.12.
Madalyn Neumann competed in the 400 Hurdles and placed seventh with her time of 1:13.41.
Paige Erhardt ran a 15.75 in the 100-meter Hurdles to place eighth.

FOR THE JIMMIES – FIELD EVENTS

Madalyn Neumann marked 1.53m in the High Jump, and Paige Erhardt marked 1.48m.
Ruth Harris placed fourth in the Pole Vault with her mark of 3.30m, and Quinn Bassingthwaite placed seventh at 3.30m.
Sydney Ulrich, Cambrie Fischer, and Keely Arnston marked 4.93m, 4.83m, and 4.26m, respectively.
Ruth Harris placed sixth in the Triple Jump at 10.67m.
Brenna Held marked 12.94m in the Shot Put to place fifth.
Heather Okeson and Makenzie Gibson competed in the Discus. Okeson placed sixth at 39.12m, and Gibson placed 10^th at 35.22m. Gibson also competed in the Hammer Throw and marked 42.59m.
Cambrie Fischer placed sixth in the Javelin with a throw of 36.38m. Sara Bonn also competed and threw 27.91m.

UP NEXT

The women compete at the NSAA Outdoor Championships in Dickinson, North Dakota, on May 8^th and 9^th.
