OMAHA, Neb.— The Jimmie baseball team dropped its final two games of the regular season at No. 24 Bellevue (Neb.) University Saturday afternoon, losing 3-1 and 12-5 at John Stella Field.

GAME ONE
- Ryan Muizelaar's solo home run in the top of the first gave Jamestown a 1-0 lead, but the Bruins would tie the game in the bottom of the second.
- A two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth extended Bellevue's lead to 3-1, which would be the game's final score.
- Ryan Radkey (5-3) pitched the first five innings for the Jimmies, striking out three and surrendering two runs on four hits.
- Muizelaar also doubled in addition to his home run, finishing 2-for-3 at the plate.
- Alex Alva, Triston Madison, Isaiah Roebuck, and Sy Steele all had hits for UJ.
GAME TWO
- After falling behind 2-0 going into the second inning, the Jimmies responded with an RBI single by Ben Patton to get within a run.
- Jordan Singleton tied the game with an RBI single in the top of the third, then with the bases loaded, Isaiah Roebuck was hit by a pitch to force in a run and give Jamestown a 3-2 lead.
- The lead was short-lived as Bellevue tied the game with a run in the bottom of the third, then used a four-run fourth to go ahead 7-3.
- Two more runs in both the sixth and seventh innings by the Bruins pushed the lead to 11-3.
- Singleton hit a solo home run and Landon Runge singled in another run in the Jamestown eighth inning to make it 11-5, then a solo homer by Bellevue in the bottom of the eighth was the final run of the game.
- Austin Shelton (2-2) took the loss after giving up two runs on two hits in one-third of an inning.
- Singleton and Triston Madison each went 3-for-4 at the plate.
UP NEXT
- The Jimmies travel to Dickinson, N.D., for the North Star Athletic Association postseason tournament beginning on Thursday. Final seeding for the tournament will be available on the conference website Sunday evening.
