The University of Jamestown men's volleyball team faced a tough challenge against #1 ranked The Master's University (Calif.) at the MacArthur Center in Santa Clarita, CA. The Jimmies fought hard but ultimately fell short, losing the contest 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Jimmies came out hot and a 3-0 run led by a kill from Michal Niemiec coupled with errors from the Mustangs to take a 4-1 lead   
• The Mustangs answered back tying the set 6-6
• The set was a back and forth battle trading leads but a 6-0 run by the Mustangs delivered them the set win 25-15
• In the second set it was the Mustangs this time who had came out hot and took a 6-2 lead over the Jimmies 
• The  Mustangs were in complete control of the set and with a 3-0 run were able to take set two 25-16
• In the third the Jimmies came back to battle and went on a 4-0 scoring run assisted by errors from the Mustangs to take a 6-3 lead 
• The Mustangs responded and with a 3-0 run were able to go regain the lead 13-12
• The Jimmies did not give up and the match was intense trading leads with each other led by Tomasz Swiderski's performance but ultimately it was a final 2-0 scoring run by the Mustangs that delivered them the set and match 25-22
