Jimmies Swept by High-Powered USF Offense

Jamestown, ND – The University of Jamestown Jimmies Women's Volleyball Team were swept in a straight-sets loss to Sioux Falls at Harold Newman Arena. Sioux Falls dominated the contest with an exceptionally high-efficiency offense, hitting 0.447 as a team compared to the Jimmies' 0.163.

• Set 1 (25-22, USF WIN): The Jimmies had their best offensive set. They were tied 20-20 late in the set after a kill by Gracie Adamson, but the Cougars went on a 5-2 run to secure the 25-22 victory.

• Set 2 (25-13, USF WIN): The Cougars took full control, winning by a decisive 12-point margin. The Cougars attack efficiency was a match-high 0.571, while the Jimmies were limited to a 0.200 hitting percentage.

• Set 3 (25-14, USF MATCH WIN): The Cougars continued their strong play, leading to an early Jimmies' deficit. An ace by Ava Bertsch and a late block by Gracie Adamson slowed the momentum, but Sioux Falls closed the set 25-14 to complete the sweep.
