JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The University of Jamestown women's soccer team wrapped up their 2025 season on Thursday evening with a hard-fought 0–0 draw against Northern State University at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.
From the opening whistle, both teams battled for possession and territory, with play largely centered in the midfield through the first half. Goalkeeper Skylar Lind set the tone early for Jamestown, making key stops in the opening 45 minutes to keep Northern State off the scoreboard. The Jimmies' back line, anchored by Kennedy Hansen, Marisa Brown, and Langley Grow, held firm under pressure, clearing multiple threats and disrupting the Wolves' attack throughout the match.
On the offensive side, Jamestown created several strong chances. Nellie Brown led the Jimmies with two shots, including one on goal, while Hannah Hynek and Grow also forced saves from the Northern State keeper. Haley Nelson, Kuhela Ledward, and Vega Canada contributed to the attacking rhythm, connecting through the midfield to build momentum and move the ball into attacking areas.
In the second half, Northern State intensified their offensive push, recording 13 of their 19 total shots. Lind remained composed under pressure, making five additional saves to preserve her clean sheet across the full 90 minutes. Her strong performance between the posts highlighted an impressive defensive effort from the Jimmies, who stayed disciplined and compact until the final whistle.
Though the season came to a close, the Jimmies showed heart and resilience in their final outing, ending their year with a performance defined by grit, teamwork, and defensive strength.
