BISMARCK, N.D. – The University of Jamestown women's wrestling team fell 33-15 to Bismarck State College in dual action on Thursday night at the BSC Armory. The dual marked a historic moment for the hosts, serving as the first-ever home competition for the BSC women's wrestling program.
The Mystics built an insurmountable lead early, benefiting from three consecutive forfeits to open the night and strong performances in the lower-middle weights. The Jimmies rallied late in the dual, securing victories in the final three weight classes, including a first-period pin by Celia Jaeger.

BSC's Fast Start: Bismarck State jumped out to a 15-0 lead before a whistle was blown, accepting forfeits at 103, 110, and 117 pounds.

Tech Fall Momentum: The Mystics kept the pressure on with back-to-back 10-0 technical falls. Rei Ogden defeated UJ's Kiera Hagman at 124, and Alexis Schneider followed up with a victory over Nora Houglum at 131 to push the team score to 23-0.

Jimmies Battle Back: Trailing 28-0 after a pin at 138, Jamestown finally got on the board at 145 with a forfeit victory for Ann Meiman.

Strong Finish: UJ closed the dual on a high note. Emily Novak picked up a forfeit win at 180, and Celia Jaeger provided the highlight of the night for the Jimmies at 207, pinning Riley Cline in just 1:37.
