JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The University of Jamestown women's soccer competed on Sunday afternoon, falling 6–0 to Bemidji State University on Senior Night at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.
The Beavers came out fast, opening the scoring in the sixth minute as Ella Wade capitalised on an early opportunity to put the visitors ahead. Just five minutes later, Katrina Barthelt doubled the lead off an assist from Wade to make it 2–0. Bemidji State continued to apply pressure late in the first half, as Grace Kittel and Briana Stocke scored back-to-back goals in the 39th and 40th minutes to give the Beavers a 4–0 advantage heading into the break.
In the second half, Bemidji State maintained their momentum. Kenzie Harer found the back of the net in the 64th minute, and Kittel added her second goal of the afternoon in the 70th to seal the win for the Beavers.
The Jimmies showed grit throughout the match, working to create chances in the attacking third and holding strong defensively despite the scoreline. Isa Garcia opened the match in goal before Skylar Lind entered in relief, making eight saves across 77 minutes of action. Offensively, Vega Canada led the Jimmies with four shots, including two on goal, while Kyah Gabel and Hannah Hynek each helped push the tempo in midfield.
As the final whistle blew, the Jimmies finished Senior Night with teammates, family, and supporters celebrating the team's seniors for their dedication and leadership within the program.
