SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Jamestown women's soccer team battled to a hard-fought 0–0 draw against Augustana on Sunday afternoon in a tightly contested defensive matchup.
Augustana applied consistent early pressure, highlighted by multiple shot attempts from Grace Katter, but Jamestown goalkeeper Skylar Lind stood strong, coming up with key saves to deny the Vikings throughout the match.
Jamestown grew into the game and pushed forward with attacking efforts from Kyah Gabel, Vega Canada, and Haley Nelson, forcing Augustana's back line to stay alert. The Jimmies maintained their composure defensively, disrupting chances in the midfield and limiting Augustana's ability to break through in the final third.
In the closing minutes, both sides searched for a winner, but neither could convert as the defenses held firm to secure the scoreless result.
