GRAND FORKS, N.D.-- Tyler Ralph scored four goals to help the University of Jamestown ACHA Division 2 men's hockey team to a 7-4 victory over University of North Dakota Saturday afternoon.

UND took a 1-0 at 10:38 of the first period on a goal from Daniel Rafferty, but the Jimmies responded with a goal by Easton Romsdal at 8:54 and Ralph's first at 8:32 to take a 2-1 lead.
The Fighting Hawks tied the score with Alexander Clark's goal, only to have Ralph put UJ back in front at the 3:33 mark. Mackenzie Bolger doubled the Jimmie lead with the fourth of the period for UJ, coming at 3:06.

Jaxon Hill made it a 5-2 game with just under five-and-a-half minutes into the second period, and Ralph completed his hat trick a little over two minutes later. UND stopped the stretch of four straight Jimmie goals as Luca French made it 6-3 with 8:54 left in the second.

Riley Tangen brought the Fighting Hawks within two goals after scoring 3:12 into the third period, but Jamestown made the lead hold up for the remainder of the game. Ralph rounded out the scoring on an empty-net goal with 20 seconds left on the clock.

Shots were 62-27 in favor of Jamestown. Jimmie goalie Xavier Baker stopped 23 saves in the win. The teams return to the ice on Sunday to finish their series at 1:30 p.m.
