MITCHELL, S.D. --  The University of Jamestown women's wrestling team won both of its duals Thursday evening, defeating Dakota Wesleyan University 35-10 and Morningside University 35-4.

UJ won three of the four contested matches against DWU and earned four other victories by forfeit.

Jenna Baarson (117) pinned Ashden Welty in 1:17, then Nora Hogulum (138) followed with a pin of Cierra Strand in 3:26. Grace Todhunter (207) finished the dual by pinning Kaitlin Gay in 1:23.

Houglum (131) and Todhunter (207) had pins for the Jimmies against Morningside. Allyson Goodmanson (103), Baarson (117), Ann Marie Meiman (145), Leah Willard (160), and Celia Jaeger (180) all won by forfeit.

Jamestown will wrestle next at the Grand View Open in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday, February 1.
