Women's track and field compete at Northern State

Aberdeen, S.D. – The University of Jamestown women's track and field team competed at Northern State University on Saturday afternoon. The women earned 44.5 team points. 
FOR THE JIMMIES
  • Mackenzie Bakken ran an 8.26 in the 55-meter. 
  • Paige Erhardt placed second in the 55-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 9.13. She placed third in the High Jump with a height of 1.56m. 
  • Madalyn Neumann and Ella Germundson ran a 1:07.26 and 1:12.08 in the 400-meter, respectively. Neumann also competed in the High Jump and placed fifth at 1.51m.
  • Lilly Petty placed third in the 800-meter with a time of 2:34.95. Petty also placed third in the mile with a 5:41.04. Allyson Goodmanson and Isabelle Julian also competed in the 800 and ran times of 2:39.27 and 2:43.38. Julian ran a 5:46.37 in the mile. 
  • Jennifer Tallackson and Kirsten Vander Kooi were the competitors in the 3000-meter. Tallackson ran a personal best of 11:54.28, and Vander Kooi followed with an 11:54.32. 
  • Cambrie Fischer championed the Long Jump with a personal best distance of 4.98m. Sydney Ulrich jumped a personal best distance of 4.92m to place her in third, and Mackenzie Bakken took sixth at 4.78m. 
  • Quinn Bassingthwaite vaulted a personal best of 3.28m to place third in the Pole Vault. 
  • Brenna Held won the Shot Put with a throw of 12.82m. She also took first in the Weight Throw with a 14.70m distance.  
  • Also in the Shot Put, Jecelyn Arends threw 10.74m to place fourth, and Heather Okeson threw 8.68m. Okeson placed fifth in the Weight Throw, throwing 12.32m, and Arends threw 11.84m. 
  • Ruth Harris secured first in the Triple Jump at 10.51m.
