YANKTON, S.D.— The University of Jamestown men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw Wednesday evening at Mount Marty University, with Jake Simson's 72nd goal saving the Jimmies from defeat at Crane-Youngworth Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lancers struck first in the 29th minute. After the Jimmies were called for a foul just outside of the 18-yard box, Jadon Brits struck a free kick around the UJ wall and into the top right of the net to make it 1-0.
- Jamestown took four shots in a span of 4:30 early in the second half, but still trailed 1-0 after the 56th minute.
- The Jimmies pressed forward in search of an equalizer, and after Mount Marty had trouble getting the ball cleared, Jake Simson stepped forward and booted the ball into the back of the net to tie the match in the 72nd minute.
- Neither team found the net in the final stages of the match and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
FOR THE JIMMIES
- Connor Warren was credited with one save in his second straight start between the posts.
- Shots were 12-5 in favor of Jamestown.

- Antoine Le Berre made six saves for Mount Marty.
