HOW IT HAPPENED
- Just over 2:30 into the match, Alejandro Tocino Vidal put Jamestown ahead with his second goal of the season. Mathias Varlet got the assist.
- The Jimmies kept a 1-0 lead until the 43rd minute. Guillem Colom notched the equalizer and the score was 1-1 heading into the break.
- Ameer Madden, who assisted on Colom's first-half goal, made it a 2-1 game with a goal in the 57th minute.
- UJ's defense did not concede a shot on goal after an attempt by Colom in the 63rd minute.
- Oscar Salgado set up Brake's goal, and the Jimmies continued to press forward for the go-ahead tally.
- After Brake's goal, Salgado, Joel Hyland, and Jake Simson each had a shot on target within a three-minute span. Hyland's 85th minute attempt was the final shot on goal for UJ.
FOR THE JIMMIES
- Charlie Clark, who faced only three shots, was credited with one save.
- The Jimmies had an 18-6 shot advantage, including an 12-3 edge in shots on goal.
FOR THE TIGERS
- Samuel Montanez stopped six shots before he was sent off in the 74th minute. Curtis Oberg finished the match and turned away four shots.
