The University of Jamestown baseball team saw its losing streak stretch to six games after a pair of losses Monday afternoon at Jack Brown Stadium. No. 15 Concordia (Neb.) won by scores of 4-1 and 6-3.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS

• Three of the first four Concordia runs came on solo home runs in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.
• Jamestown was held to just two hits, a first-inning double by Alex Alva and a second-inning single by Hayden Brown, until the bottom of the seventh.
• Brown's two-out solo home run accounted for the Jimmies' lone run.
• Luke Zimmer (4-3) struck out eight in four innings, giving up a pair of runs on seven hits.

GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS

• RJ Woods delivered a pinch-hit double to score Alex Alva for a 1-0 UJ lead in the bottom of the third, then came around to score on Jordan Singleton's base hit to make it 2-0.
• The Bulldogs took the lead with three runs in the top of the fourth and held on to a short one-run lead until the Jimmies tied the score in the fifth.
• Woods reached on an error by the CUNE third baseman, and Riki Okamoto scored on the play, knotting the score at 3-3.
• Concordia broke through for three runs in the top of the ninth against Payton Hochhalter (0-1), then retired the Jimmies in order in the bottom half to complete the win.
