Box Score 2 DICKINSON, N.D. – The University of Jamestown baseball team finished the fall season with a split of Friday afternoon's doubleheader against Dickinson State University. The Blue Hawks took the opener 3-2 then the Jimmies responded with a 9-4 victory in game two at Dakota Community Bank & Trust Ballpark.

GAME ONE: DICKINSON STATE 3, JAMESTOWN 2
• A two-run double by Cameron Erickson with two outs in the bottom of the sixth brought the Blue Hawks back from a 2-1 deficit in game one.
• Alex Alva drove in the game's first run with a two-out single in the third, and Landon Runge extended UJ's lead to 2-0 with an RBI single an inning later.
• DSU loaded the bases against Avery Liestman in the bottom of the fifth, scoring their first run on a balk with one out.
• Alva went 2-for-3 at the plate while Triston Madison and Julian Romero joined Runge in the hit column.
• Liestman (2-1) took the loss, giving up three earned runs on six hits in 5 1/3 innings. He struck out four and walked two.
GAME TWO: JAMESTOWN 9, DICKINSON STATE 4
• Ben Patton's grand slam capped a seven-run third inning for the Jimmies as they took game two 9-4.
• Following a leadoff double by Riki Okamoto and a single by Chase Burke, Alex Alva reached on an error by Jace Buchanan. Okamoto and Burke came home on the play as Alva advanced to third. Triston Madison brought in Alva with a sacrifice fly to make it 3-0 Jamestown. With two outs, Ryan Muizelaar, Landon Runge, and Julian Romero drew consecutive walks to load the bases for Patton. Patton homered to left field, clearing the bases and pushing the Jimmies' lead to 7-0.
• The Blue Hawks got on the board in the bottom of the third with a single run, but UJ countered with another run in the fifth on Patton's sacrifice fly.
• Jordan Singleton drove in the final Jamestown run with a double in the top of the sixth to make it 9-2. Dickinson State plated two more to cut the lead to 9-4 in the bottom of the sixth.
• Luke Zimmer (2-1) got the win in relief, pitching 3 1/3 innings and allowing one earned run on one hit, striking out three.
• Patton drove in five runs for UJ, who also got a pair of hits from Alva for the second straight game.

• Cameron Erickson went 2-for-3 in the opener with 2 RBI and Kadin Finders was 3-for-3 for the Blue Hawks in game two.
