A pair of goals in each half for the Dordt (Iowa) University Defenders sent the Jimmie men's soccer team to a 4-0 defeat Wednesday evening at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Jamestown trailed 1-0 after Blake Hansen got the Defenders on the board in the 19^th minute on an assist by Kaleb Lee.
• Tyson Reitsma doubled Dordt's lead in the 42^nd minute, getting an assist from Jacob Narkis.
• Shots were 6-1 in favor of Dordt, including shots on goal (4-1).
• The second half saw the Jimmies attempt 16 shots, 13 of them on target.
• Marco Laenen scored the first of his two goals in the 59^th minute, and then made it a 4-0 game in the 77^th minute. Nolan Karel and Javier Moscardo got the assists.

FOR THE JIMMIES

• UJ had six corner kicks in the match while outshooting Dordt 16-6 in the second half.
• Wade McWhorter had four shots on goal, and Ben Brake, Jacob Holtz, and Dylan Kitto all had two shots each.
