Jones enters his second season leading Jimmies men’s wrestling in 2025. In his first season, Jones guided the Jimmies to a seventh-place team finish at the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) championships and a dual win against Bismarck State College. The Jimmies had three wrestlers finish in the top four at the KCAC Championships.

Originally from Sidney, Mont., Jones was an assistant coach at Dickinson State (N.D.) University. He competed at Dickinson State and was a four-time national qualifier and two-time NAIA All-American, with a third place and fourth-place national finish to his credit.
