Who or what inspired you to start playing basketball growing up? 

• My Dad. 

Do you have any pregame superstitions or routines? 

• Eat candy 

Tell us about your favorite basketball moment as a player or fan? 

• Playing in the region championship game.

Who is your favorite basketball player? 

• Anthony Edwards 

What is one talent you have outside the game of basketball? 

• I’m good at cornhole.

What do you hope every Jimmie fan says after they see our team play? 

• They never stop hustling.

Why did you choose UJ and what do you like about being a Jimmie student- athlete? 

• Facilities are super nice and everyone knows the grind that it takes to play a college sport.

High School  

Tyson is the all-time leader in assists and scored over 1,500 points in his career. He was named Region Senior Athlete of the Year and recorded a remarkable 30-point triple-double. Notably, he hit 10 three-pointers in back-to-back games and led his team to a 2nd place finish in regionals during his sophomore year. 

Personal  

Tyson is the son of Aaron and Angie. He is majoring in business with an emphasis in management.
