Get to Know Caleb ... 

Who or what inspired you to start playing basketball growing up? 

• My mom and dad.              

Do you have any pregame superstitions or routines? 

• I pray before every game. It calms me down and helps me lock in. 

Tell us about your favorite basketball moment as a player or fan? 

• Playing in the section championship my junior season. 

Who is your favorite basketball player? 

• Anthony Edwards 

What is one talent you have outside the game of basketball? 

• I can do the worm.

What do you hope every Jimmie fan says after they see our team play? 

• That we play for each other and play amazing team basketball.

Why did you choose UJ and what do you like about being a Jimmie student- athlete? 

• I chose UJ because it was the best fit to continue my basketball career and I got accepted direct-entry into physical therapy school. I like how there are so many other student-athletes on campus, which makes me be able to relate to them because I know how much dedication they’ve also had to put into their sport to get here.

High School  

Caleb was named the 2024 Conference MVP and earned All-Conference honors three times during his career. A member of the 1,000-point club, he ranks as the 4th all-time leading scorer in school history and holds the single-game scoring record with 47 points. As a two-time team captain, he helped his team achieve a 56-27 win-loss record and secure two conference championships. Additionally, he led his team to a 2023 Section 8AA runner-up finish and set a single-season win record with 26 victories during the 2022-23 season. 

Personal  

Caleb is the son of Kim and Sara. He is an exercise science major.
