SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Jamestown men's cross country finished ninth out of 19 teams Friday morning at the Augustana Invitational at Yankton Trails Park.
MEN'S RESULTS
Cole Campbell turned in the top performance for the Jimmie men, taking 37
th in a field of 294 finishers, with a time of 25:10.8 in the 8K race.
Aaron Devine was the second UJ runner to cross the line, placing 58
th with a time of 25:31.1.
Clark Lortscher came in 64
th (25:33.8), followed by
Noah Sayler (75
th, 25:44.1), and
Braeden Kinzler, who rounded out the Jimmie scoring in 76
th place (25:44.4)
UJ's point total of 264 was 40 better than tenth-place Northwestern (Iowa), and 31 behind eighth-place University of Mary. Washburn won the team title with a score of 54, edging out Nebraska-Kearney by eight points.
Gideon Hammah from UMary was the individual winner in a time of 24:09.8.
Jamestown will host the annual Jimmie Invite on Friday, October 2 at Parkhurst Cross Country Course.
