Jimmies secure 3rd overall at two-day Dragon Invite

West Fargo, N.D— The University of Jamestown (UJ) Women's Swimming and Diving Team delivered a strong performance at the Dragon Invite (January 16–17, 2026), finishing 3rd place overall with 677 points. Competing at the Hulbert Aquatic Center, the Jimmies showcased their strength in sprint events and individual strokes to remain competitive against a tough field.

TOP PERFORMERS AND EVENT WINNERS

The Jimmies secured three individual event victories and multiple top-three finishes throughout the invite.

Kailee Cline: Captured an individual victory and was a consistent high-scorer across multiple disciplines.  

• 1st Place in 100 Yard Butterfly (59.09).  

• 2nd Place in 200 Yard Butterfly (2:13.28).  

• 2nd Place in 200 Yard Freestyle (2:00.66).  

• 2nd Place in 50 Yard Butterfly (27.35).  

• 3rd Place in 50 Yard Backstroke (29.49).  

Dagbjorg Hlif Olafsdottir: Displayed versatility in breaststroke and sprint events.  

• 1st Place in 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:28.52).  

• 2nd Place in 50 Yard Backstroke (28.35).  

• 4th Place in 200 Yard IM (2:16.89).  

• 5th Place in 50 Yard Butterfly (27.85).  

Emily Petersen: Proved to be the fastest breaststroke sprinter in the field.  

• 1st Place in 50 Yard Breaststroke (32.08).  

• 4th Place in 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:12.88).  

• Tied 7th Place in 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:46.65).  

KEY RELAY HIGHLIGHTS

The Jimmies' relay teams consistently placed in the top three to anchor the team's overall score:

200 Yard Medley Relay (Event 1): The 'A' team (Robideau, Petersen, Cline, Olafsdottir) placed 3rd with a time of 1:54.48.  

400 Yard Medley Relay (Event 16): The 'A' team (Robideau, Petersen, Cline, Olafsdottir) secured 3rd Place in 4:12.83.  

200 Yard Freestyle Relay (Event 8): The 'A' team (Olafsdottir, Goodrich, Edwards, Price) finished 3rd with a time of 1:43.26.  

400 Yard Freestyle Relay (Event 24): The 'A' team (Olafsdottir, Goodrich, Edwards, Price) placed 3rd in 3:51.61.  

ADDITIONAL SCORERS

Kylie Price: 5th Place in 50 Yard Freestyle (25.34) and 5th Place in 100 Yard Freestyle (56.32).  

Bostyn Edwards: 8th Place in 50 Yard Freestyle (26.40) and 7th Place in 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:14.94).  

Lacie Robideau: 7th Place in 50 Yard Backstroke (30.27) and Tied 8th Place in 100 Yard Backstroke (1:04.91).  

Lindsey Goodrich: 6th Place in 500 Yard Freestyle (5:49.33) and 9th Place in 200 Yard Freestyle (2:08.60).  

Nia Hanson: 9th Place in 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:47.03) and 9th Place in 50 Yard Breaststroke (36.74).  

Anna Carrick: 8th Place in 1 mtr Diving with a score of 289.10.
