BISMARCK, N.D.-- Celi Nelson from the University of Jamestown has been named this week's North Star Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Nelson shot 80 strokes (8-over-par) to capture the Dickinson State (N.D.) Invitational title for the Jimmies. The event was shortened to one day due to inclement weather, and saw winds blowing at 25-35 miles per hour with rain and sleet with temperatures in the 30's. Nelson won the tournament by three strokes and helped the Jimmies to win the team event.
