Jimmies Diving and Swimming Teams Finish Strong at Marauder Invite

Bismarck, ND – The University of Jamestown Swimming and Diving team kicked off the Marauder Invite on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Bismarck Aquatic Center. The Jimmies put together a solid effort against strong regional competition, concluding the day in 3rd place overall in the women's team standings with a total of 378 points.

Top Performances in Diving

The Jimmies secured 2nd and 3rd place finishes in both the Women's 1-meter Diving events, with standout performances from two divers.

 * Sadie Hager (#2, Freshman): Hager was the top diver for the Jimmies in both events.

   * She earned 2nd place in the Women 1m Championship (6 Dives) with a score of 155.70 points.

   * She also placed 2nd in the Women 1m (5 Vol) event with a final score of 131.30 points.

 * Nicole Herzog (#3, Junior): Herzog secured 3rd place finishes in both 1-meter events.

   * She took 3rd place in the Women 1m Championship (6 Dives) with 126.80 points.

   * She finished 3rd in the Women 1m (5 Vol) event, scoring 105.70 points.

Event Winners and Top Swimmers

The Jimmies saw an individual event win and multiple high placements in the pool:

 * Kailee Cline (#1, Freshman): Cline delivered the Jimmies' biggest swim victory of the day, winning the Women 200 Yard Butterfly with a final time of 2:12.08. She also contributed to the relays and placed 4th in the Women 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:22.06.

 * Dagbjorg Hlif Olafsdottir (#3, Sophomore): Olafsdottir secured two strong individual finishes:

   * She finished 4th in the Women 50 Yard Butterfly with a time of 27.70.

   * She placed 3rd in the Women 50 Yard Backstroke with a time of 28.98.

 * Emily Petersen (#2, Sophomore): Petersen had a high placement in the breaststroke events, finishing 2nd in the Women 50 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 32.17.

Relay and Other Notable Finishes

 * Women 400 Yard Freestyle Relay: The 'A' relay team, consisting of Price, Olafsdottir, Cline, and Goodrich, finished 4th with a time of 3:48.04.

 * Women 200 Yard Medley Relay: The 'A' team (Olafsdottir, Petersen, Cline, and Price) finished 3rd overall with a time of 1:53.12.

 * Kylie Price (#5, Sophomore): Price added points by finishing 12th in the Women 50 Yard Butterfly (29.01) and 6th in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:06.54).

 * Lindsey Goodrich (#7, Sophomore): Goodrich had top-10 finishes in both the Women 200 Yard IM (7th, 2:23.27) and the Women 200 Yard Butterfly (9th, 2:34.45).

Also competing for the Jimmies was Senior Abigail Martin who placed 8th in the Women 1000 Yard Freestyle (13:53.17) and 13th in the Women 50 Yard Backstroke (39.85); Freshman Emmery P. Wheeling finished 14th in the Women 200 Yard Backstroke (2:46.99) and 19th in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:32.14); Junior Lauren Anderson placed 16th in the Women 50 Yard Breaststroke (38.23) and 10th in the Women 200 Yard IM (2:49.86).
