Jimmies Finish Second at The Knight Invite with Strong Weekend Performances

Jamestown, ND – The University of Jamestown women's swimming and diving team delivered a strong performance at The Knight Invite, hosted at the Jamestown High School pool on October 24-25, 2025. The Jimmies finished the competition in 2nd place overall, accumulating 789.5 points behind the University of Mary (993.5) and ahead of Northern State University (565).

TOP PERFORMERS AND EVENT WINNERS

The Jimmies secured one individual event win and a commanding presence in breaststroke and diving events.

Kailee Cline: Claimed the Jimmies' only individual victory of the day, winning the Women 400 Yard IM with a time of 4:59.88. She also secured a tie for 2nd place in the Women 100 Yard Butterfly (1:01.18).  

Kylie Price: Was highly competitive in the sprints, finishing 4th place in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:06.74). She also achieved a tie for 2nd place in the Women 100 Yard Freestyle (56.19).  

Dagbjorg Hlif Olafsdottir: Was a top finisher in breaststroke and backstroke, placing 3rd in the Women 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:11.49) and 5th in the Women 100 Yard Backstroke (1:05.39).  

Sadie Hager: Was the Jimmies' top diver of the invite, placing 2nd in the Women 1m Diving event with a final score of 163.30.  

Nicole Herzog: Also had a strong diving performance, finishing right behind her teammate in 3rd place in the Women 1m Diving with a score of 136.30.  

ADDITIONAL TOP SWIMMERS

The depth of the Jimmies squad contributed significant points across all events:

Emily Petersen: Secured 4th place in the Women 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:12.19.  

Lacie Robideau: Finished 4th place in the Women 100 Yard Backstroke (1:05.21).  

Lindsey Goodrich: Placed 4th place in the Women 100 Yard Butterfly (1:04.54) and 3rd place in the Women 400 Yard IM (5:10.50).  

Chea Baugh: Finished 4th place in the Women 1000 Yard Freestyle (12:34.83) and 6th place in the Women 400 Yard IM (5:31.30).  

Bostyn Edwards: Earned 6th place in the Women 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:13.72).  

RELAY HIGHLIGHTS

The Jimmies secured top-three finishes in two of the most competitive relay events, emphasizing their collective speed:

• Women 200 Yard Freestyle Relay: The 'A' team ( Kailee Cline, Kylie Price, Bostyn Edwards, and Lindsey Goodrich) took 3rd place with a time of 1:45.35.  

• Women 400 Yard Medley Relay: The 'A' team (Dagbjorg Hlif Olafsdottir, Emily Petersen, Kailee Cline, and Kylie Price) secured 2nd place with a time of 4:13.16.  

ADDITIONAL JIMMIE FINISHERS

The following individuals also contributed to the team's points:

Nia Hanson finished 9th in the Women 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:17.83) and 11th in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:16.04).  

Lauren Anderson finished 21st in the Women 100 Yard Freestyle (1:04.93).  

Abigail Martin placed 15th in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:33.79) and 23rd in the Women 100 Yard Freestyle (1:12.81).  

Emmery Wheeling finished 14th in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:30.86) and 5th in the Women 1000 Yard Freestyle (13:56.83).  

Lacie Robideau placed 16th in the Women 100 Yard Freestyle (1:02.62) and 4th in the Women 100 Yard Backstroke (1:05.21).  

Emily Petersen placed 11th in the Women 100 Yard Backstroke (1:14.83).
