FULTON, Mo.— Two first-half goals in a span of 2:25 helped William Woods University to a 3-2 victory over the Jimmie men's soccer team Sunday afternoon at North Campus Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- William Woods capitalized on a turnover near the top of the 18-yard box, as Breck McGrail slotted home the game's first goal in the 9th minute.
- Jake Simson found the equalizer in the 28th minute on an assist from Kaiden Blanchard. It was the fifth goal in five matches for Simson.
- In the 32nd minute, David Fink regained the lead for the Owls on an unassisted goal.
- Nico Martinez Labra took a free kick for WWU in the 34th minute, and Omar Murillo was in position to put the ball in the back of the net to make it 3-1 a little over ten minutes from half time.
- Jamestown did not find their second goal until the 81st minute as Oscar Salgado made it 3-2 with his third of the season.
- Salgado and Simson each had shots in the final five minutes but the match ended in favor of the Owls.
- Shots were 15-12 in favor of William Woods, including shots on goal (8-4). Charlie Clark had five saves for the Jimmies.
