The University of Jamestown men's golf team competed Sunday, September 15 and Monday, September 16 at the UJ Fall Classic. The Jamestown Country Club is a par-72 course.
The Jimmies competed with two teams, UJ 1 and UJ 2.
FOR THE JIMMIES
UJ 1:
- The team hit 20-over in the first round and improved to 18-over in the second round, putting them in second place to end the tournament.
- Max Noffsinger shot 1-over par in the first round and even with par in the second, securing him the first-place title at 1-over 145 (73-72).
- Gehrig Geiss followed, tying for third with 7-over 151 (73-78).
- Aidan Hall tied for 12th with 12-over 156 (80-76).
- Bodie Williams took 18th with 18-over 162 (82-80).
- Aiden McLain tied for 39th with 33-over 177 (86-91).
UJ 2:
- The team took fourth place, hitting 36-over in the first round and improving to 29-over in the second round.
- Logan Douglas led scoring for UJ 2, tying for ninth with 10-over 154 (75-79).
- Cole Campbell followed in 15th with 15-over 159 (79-80).
- Easton Romsdal (88-76) and Logan Schons (82-82) tied for 19th at 20-over 164.
- Oscar Holmen tied for 35th with 30-over 174 (90-84).
- Sam Boser competed individually and tied for 35th with 30-over 174 (89-85).
OPPONENTS
- BSU took first for the men's teams, shooting 16-over in round one and 14-over in round two.
- Between UJ 1 and UJ 2 in third place was DSU 1, shooting 22-over in round one and 25-over in round two.
