FREMONT, Neb.-- The 7th-ranked University of Jamestown men's hockey finished a weekend sweep of Midland University with a 3-0 win Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After scoring five goals in Friday's victory over the Warriors, the Jimmies were held to just a single goal through 40 minutes on Saturday.
- Philippe Lessard's seventh goal of the year, assisted by Kole Christensson and Alek Erichuk, came at 5:50 of the first period.
- Both teams had three power play chances in the first, with one of Midland's chances being a five-minute power play at the 12:49 mark.
- Neither team was able to capitalize on the extra chances, and the score stayed 1-0 heading into the third period.
- The Warriors pulled goaltender Liam Tereposky for an extra skater with 1:50 left but 17 seconds later, Brayden Michalchuk potted an empty-net goal to make it 2-0 in favor of the Jimmies. Lessard and Keaton Cline got the assists.
- Tereposky came off again at 18:45 of the third, and Greg Susinski picked up UJ's second empty-net goal at 19:06 to push the lead to 3-0.
- Jamestown outshot Midland 17-3 in the final period and 45-35 in the game.
- Brandon Weare made 35 saves in his 12th shutout of the season.
