MANDAN, N.D. — The fifth-ranked University of Jamestown men's hockey team saw a 3-1 lead slip away against No. 14 University of Mary Friday evening, as the Marauders tallied the final four goals in a 5-3 win at Starion Sports Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UMary took a 1-0 lead at 11:30 of the first period but the Jimmies answered with the equalizer off the stick of Keaton Cline at 13:22. Mario DeCapite and Philippe Lessard assisted on the goal.
- Fifty-three seconds later, Brad Fortin made it 2-1 in favor of Jamestown with Griffin Bourassa and Alek Erichuk helping set up the goal.
- A shorthanded goal from Darius Makse at 1:52 of the second extended UJ's lead to 3-1.
- A pair of power play goals by UMary just 74 seconds apart tied the game with 9:51 remaining in the second.
- Liam Massie, who opened the scoring for the home team, broke the tie at 3:21 of the third period, then an empty-net goal with four seconds left provided the final tally of the game.
- Shots were even at 32 and Jimmie goaltender Brandon Weare made 27 saves.
- Jamestown was 0-for-3 on the power play while UMary was 2-for-6.
