ROMEOVILLE, Ill.— The second-ranked University of Jamestown ACHA Division 1 men's hockey team scored first on Friday, but No. 5 Nevada-Las Vegas had the final two goals to take a 2-1 victory at the ACHA Chicago Showcase.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Matthew McIntyre got the Jimmies on the board at the 12:57 mark of the first period with his fifth goal of the season, assisted by Chase Visser and Griffin Bourassa.
- UNLV scored twice in a span of 45 seconds late in the first period to take a 2-1 lead.
- Neither team found the back of the net in the final 40 minutes and the game ended 2-1 in favor of the Rebels.
- Shots were 28-26 in favor of UNLV. Brandon Weare had 26 saves for the Jimmies.
